After winning six games in a row between March and April, Wolves look to be ending their 2024/25 campaign in disappointing style.
Wolves’ 4-2 defeat against Crystal Palace on Tuesday night was their third Premier League loss in a row, with one final home clash to come against Brentford.
Vitor Pereira sent a transfer message to Fosun after more points were dropped against the Eagles, urging the Wolves owner to invest funds into the squad.
But first, it appears the Wanderers could see some faces exit Molineux before money is splashed on new signings. Matheus Cunha is set to join Manchester United, barring any late hiccups, while Atletico Madrid are interested in Fabio Silva.
Cunha and Silva are just two of the many players set to wave their goodbyes to Molineux this summer, with one leaked image causing sadness across social media.

Wolves think Nelson Semedo has already filmed his goodbye video
In just over a month, Nelson Semedo’s contract at Wolves expires after spending nearly five years in Wolverhampton.
The attacking right-back has enjoyed a successful period at the club, seeing his importance to the team increase as captain of Pereira’s ship.
Unfortunately, while Pereira wants to keep Semedo and the defender has spoken about staying, time is ticking to agree fresh terms.
Now, with Semedo fielding interest from Saudi Arabia and clubs across other continents, supporters fear he could leave, and they’ve now spotted one image that looks ominous regarding his future.

One supporter posted a photo on X with the caption ‘Nelson doing his goodbye video!’, accompanied by the sad face emoji, with many other fans responding to it.
“I still find it emotional watching Neves goodbye video. Not sure i have the capacity for another one,” someone wrote.
“Certainly looks that way Matty – i’m not subscribing to the last minute change of heart,” another replied.
“At least Semedo is ending his time with us the right way by playing without grumbling and giving his best,” one person said.

Wolves have multiple issues to address if Semedo leaves
Should that image turn out to be Semedo filming his goodbye video, Pereira is left with multiple issues to resolve this summer.
Most importantly, a solid replacement will be needed for the 31-year-old, someone who is just adept at defending as he is going forward.
As seen during the defeat to Crystal Palace, Rodrigo Gomes struggled at right wing-back and isn’t someone Pereira can rely on in that role.
Worryingly, too, Semedo’s departure would also mean finding another captain for the fourth summer in a row. Wolves have seen Conor Coady, Ruben Neves, Max Kilman and Mario Lemina all exit the club in recent years.
Considering the role Semedo plays behind the scenes, it leaves the manager with a crucial decision to make, as he needs to appoint someone who will be at the club long-term.
