Wolves winger Pedro Neto enjoyed another brilliant performance at the weekend – and two top former Molineux stars, Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves, were among many to send messages to the winger after the game.
Wolves put the 2-0 defeat to Brentford firmly behind them, and put in a top display against Tottenham Hotspur.
Wolves won 2-1 at the London Stadium, with Joao Gomes scoring a brace.
The Brazilian is not known for his goalscoring, but popped up just before half-time to nod Wolves in front from a Pablo Sarabia corner. After Spurs equalised, Gomes then scored in the second-half, finishing off a brilliant counter led by Pedro Neto.
Neto was superb again yesterday and after the game, many players sent him messages on social media…
Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves send messages to Pedro Neto after Wolves’ win over Tottenham

Neto was absolutely key to Wolves’ game plan yesterday, along with Hwang Hee-chan.
Gary O’Neil knew that Spurs would have most of the ball, and it was all about sitting in and being assured defensively.
Then, there would be opportunities to hit Spurs on the counter.
The speed of the counter on the second Wolves goal was a sight to behold, with Neto able to stretch his legs down the right after being released by Gomes.
The Portuguese then showed great intelligence to cut back inside and square the ball to Gomes, who did brilliantly to get up and support.
Neto posted on social media after the game, writing on Instagram: “Hard work pays off, we continue. Let’s go @wolves.”
A number of his teammates commented, as well as some old ones including Diogo Jota, Ruben Neves and Romain Saiss:
Diogo Jota: ‘Beast’
Ruben Neves: ‘I know only 1 player that can stop you on speed. You play so much’
Romain Saiss: ‘Very fast my brother’
Mario Lemina: ‘The X Factor’
Pablo Sarabia: ‘Top mano’
Dan Bentley: ‘Assist king’
Neto is frightening
Neto was recently clocked as the third-fastest player in the Premier League this season, and that pace is just frightening.
Defenders must quake in their boots seeing Neto’s name on the Wolves teamsheet, because you just cannot get near him when he’s in full flow.
The best thing about him now though is that the consistency is there. The end product is there, and the numbers he has put up this season are remarkable, considering he missed a chunk of the campaign through injury.
It is truly a pleasure to watch him play, and it will be a crying shame when the time comes for him to leave the club. That will very possibly be this summer, and hopefully Wolves will at least be able to secure a massive fee for the 23-year-old.
