The Vitor Pereira era got off to flying start on Sunday as Wolves beat Leicester City in the Premier League.
Wolves won 3-0 at the King Power Stadium, and gave one of their best performances of the season so far.
Wolves were well oragnised, and carried a considerable threat in the final third, with all the damage being doing in the first-half.
Goncalo Guedes opened the scoring, before the brilliant Rodrigo Gomes and Matheus Cunha added two more before the break.
Wolves then managed the game really well, and looked comfortably for most of the contest.
Fans have seen some poor defending this season and under Gary O’Neil, a three-nil lead probably wouldn’t have had that many feeling comfortable.
But Wolves were superb, and optimism will now be huge after this result.
It was a great outing for Guedes, who received some positive messages on social media after the game.

Guedes was handed only his second start in the Premier League against Leicester.
He started on the right side, with Jorgen Strand Larsen through the middle and Matheus Cunha to the left.
It was a brilliant performance from Guedes, who opened the scoring and also supplied the assist for Cunha.
Guedes worked his socks off against Leicester before being replaced by Hwang Hee-chan, and fans hailed the star after the game.
Few will have expected him to even be a Wolves played at this point. But he’s stuck around, and Wolves are now benefitting, with the star having made nine goal contributions so far.
He posted on Instagram after the game, writing ‘Grande vitória!’ (Big win!).
Several players commented, including former Wolves striker Diego Costa.
Diego Costa: ‘🔥🔥🔥’
Matheus Cunha: ‘What a player’
Jorgen Strand Larsen: ‘Golazooo❤️❤️’
Tommy Doyle: ‘Figo’
Pablo Sarabia: ‘🔥🔥👏👏’
Toti Gomes: ‘🤩❤️❤️’
Jose Sa: ‘He’s unstoppable’
A top display from Guedes
The Pereira era couldn’t have got off to a better start considering he’s only worked with the players for a few days.
Granted, Leicester were very poor against Wolves. But take nothing away from Wolves – this was a fantastic performance after the last few games.
And £27.5 million signing Guedes played a starring role for Wanderers, and looks a major threat every time he gets on the ball.
Guedes now has more league goal contributions than the likes of Diogo Jota and Marcus Rashford, and he really does have a huge part to play going forwards.
But Guedes is a target for Villarreal in January, so hopefully he’ll want to stick around.
