Wolves are back in Premier League action tonight for their final game of 2025 against Manchester United.
Wanderers come into the game having lost 11 top-flight matches in a row, with Rob Edwards having tasted defeat in all seven of the matches he’s taken so far.
It has been a very frustrating start for Edwards.
Would you be happy with this starting XI, Wolves fans?
If not, let us know who comes in and who comes out!
There have been moments across the seven games where Wolves have looked good. But ultimately, the lack of quality in comparison to the opposition has told each time.
Up next for Wolves is United at Old Trafford, and Wolves and Edwards will be desperate to end the calendar year in positive fashion.
As usual, there has been plenty of chat about the team Rob Edwards should field, and Dave Edwards has suggested how the manager should set up in attack.
Rob Edwards urged to bring back Jorgen Strand Larsen vs Man United

Against Liverpool, Rob Edwards made a lot of fans quite happy with his team selection.
Calls had been growing for Jorgen Strand Larsen to be dropped, and that is what Edwards did, with Tolu Arokodare leading the line and Mateus Mane and Hwang Hee-chan operating as his support.
Mane impressed again on his first Premier League start, and Arokodare also had some positive moments, linking well with the teenager.
For Dave Edwards, those two players should keep their places. But Strand Larsen should be brought back into the starting XI at the expense of Hwang.
What should Rob Edwards do with Jorgen Strand Larsen vs Man United – bench him or start him?
Dave Edwards thinks he and Tolu should play together with Mane in behind… 👀
He said (via E&S): “I’d also like to see a couple of changes higher up the pitch. Potentially a front two of Arokodare and Jorgen Strand Larsen would work.
“At least then, when we do clear the ball, we’ve got two big men up there to get the first contact, but also get the second contact as well. If you can play Mane behind in a number 10 that would give him some freedom too.”
Two players who are fighting to be fully fit to face United are Yerson Mosquera and Santiago Bueno.
Strand Larsen will do well to return vs Man United
It will be fascinating to see if Rob Edwards does recall Strand Larsen against Manchester United.
As we all know, the Norwegian has really struggled this season, and his benching against Liverpool was no real surprise.

Arokodare and Mane did well against Liverpool and both should keep their places. It’s just whether Edwards will be tempted to swap out Hwang for Strand Larsen.
Edwards praised Hwang’s attitude and intelligence, and the South Korean is clearly a player the manager likes.
But perhaps Strand Larsen and Arokodare could work as a pairing with Mane buzzing around behind them to pick up second balls.
