Wolves face Leeds United on Saturday afternoon, and Vitor Pereira could have some selection headaches, but Molineux legend Dave Edwards believes one player should definitely start.
Rodrigo Gomes and Hugo Bueno were excellent against Newcastle, and that will signal bad news for Jackson Tchatchoua and David Moller Wolfe.
The two new signings have failed to nail down that starting spot as their own, and the duo of Gomes and Bueno have seemed to take their chance.
Yerson Mosquera did OK at St. James’ Park but a moment of madness likely should have resulted in Mosquera being sent off.
Ladislav Krejci also impressed in his debut, and now Dave Edwards has made an insistent point about the Czech.
Dave Edwards says Ladislav Krejci must start against Leeds United

Dave Edwards has said that Vitor Pereira must start Ladislav Krejci when Wolves host Leeds United on Saturday.
Edwards, speaking on the Official Wolves Podcast, said, “You have got to get Krejci into the team, he was excellent against Newcastle and I think he’s got to play.”
The Czech international was one of Wolves best performers on the day, and his quality was evident.
Krejci did start in midfield, much to his surprise, but he looked at home in the Old Gold. He later switched back to his natural centre-back role.
Much of the debate for Saturday will likely be around where Pereira should play the former Girona man, and Dave Edwards has also given his verdict on that.
Dave Edwards insists Ladislav Krejci needs to play in defence against Leeds United
Dave Edwards feels like Wolves best chance of getting a win against Leeds United will come from Krejci starting in defence.
The former Wolves player said, “I’m not sure a midfield three of Joao Gomes, Andre, and Krejci, at Molineux, against Leeds, in what people are building up as a really important must win game, is necessarily the way to go.
“I feel we need to get one more attacking player on the pitch. I would play Krejci in defence. Because of his ball playing ability, I would perhaps play him centrally, and have him, like Mosquera was, pushing into that holding midfielder role.”

The defender’s ball-playing ability is one of his biggest strengths, and perhaps why he is so capable of moving into midfield.
During the most recent international break, Krejci was credited by Czech media for his passing, and that could be key to beating Leeds United.
