Wolves have kick-started their summer business with the signing of Fer Lopez.
Following the high-profile sales of Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri, Vitor Pereira was in urgent need of some reinforcements.
Lopez would be signed for £19.5m in an attempt to fill the void, with the attacker arriving from Spain to much fanfare.
But at only 21 years old, Lopez is seen as one for the future rather than someone for the here and now.
With a lack of experience currently within the Wolves squad, many fans are now calling for more seasoned signings.

Dave Edwards expects more signings at Wolves
Having already lost two of his best players, Pereira is worried about Wolves’ business so far this summer.
Wolves’ transfer activity has also left fans unsettled ahead of the new season, with many worrying that Pereira will not be backed in the market.
Luckily for supporters, though, Dave Edwards has some words of encouragement on the transfer front.
The former Molineux midfielder claims that he expects more deals to be completed, with more experienced signings tipped to arrive.
“I know a lot of fans want to see more experienced players coming in, and I still fully expect that, because Lopez is not a Matheus Cunha replacement,” Edwards told the Express & Star.
“I see him more of a Pablo Sarabia replacement, someone who will be in and out of the team, can make an impact from the bench and hopefully take his chance.”

Vitor Pereira needs experienced signings
Edwards’ expectation will provide fans with some hope, but there seems to be no evidence to back those claims so far.
Wolves’ interest in Jordan Barrera and Wallace Yan – players both aged 20 or under – suggests Fosun are putting a heavy emphasis on signing youth rather than players who are ready for the step up.

The contract exits of Pablo Sarabia and Craig Dawson were necessary moves to make, but ones that have taken two very experienced members out of the Wolves dressing room.
That sort of professional maturity must be replaced or Pereira could find himself without experience to call upon next season – something which could prove costly.
