Wolves were easily beaten by Chelsea on Saturday night, and after the game, Darren Bent gave his thoughts on the club’s impending move for Rob Edwards.
Wolves came up well short at Stamford Bridge, losing 3-0 in the end under interim manager James Collins.
Wolves gave a good performance in the first-half, but conceded to Malo Gusto on 51 minutes which then opened the floodgates.
Two more goals followed from Joao Pedro and Pedro Neto, meaning Wolves now have nine defeats in 11 Premier League games this season.
It is safe to say that Rob Edwards has a major job his hands to keep Wolves in the Premier League.
It is now a question of when and not if he gets the job, and on Sky Sports last night, Darren Bent gave his verdict on the appointment.
Darren Bent shares what Rob Edwards must do to keep Wolves up

Edwards’ move to Wolves is controversial.
Middlesbrough have not been happy with Wolves over their approach for Edwards, who had initially not been drawn n the links when asked about them in public.
On Saturday, Boro stood Edwards down from managerial duties for the game with Birmingham City amid the speculation, and then there was word of an agreement.
Edwards will become Wolves’ new manager, and for Darren Bent it’s clear he must address Wolves’ attacking woes.
He said on Sky Sports last night: “When he gets the job he’s going to have to give it that whole speech in terms of believing. But you look at their performance today and they go into really good areas but I never felt like they could hurt Chelsea, they were too passive.

“He’s going to have to go in there, listen he’s a smart manager and a smart man. It’s not so much they don’t have good players but you almost feel like if (Jorgen) Strand Larsen doesn’t score, who is going to score and keep clean sheets as well?”
Edwards must improve toothless Wolves
This season, Wolves have been a shadow of the team they were last term – especially up front.
The exits of Matheus Cunha, Pablo Sarabia and Goncalo Guedes and Rayan Ait-Nouri were always going to sting, but Wolves have had several games this season where they’ve barely laid a glove on their opponent – and it’s a major concern.

Wolves had zero shots on target last night against Chelsea, and Edwards must quickly find a way of getting his new team to show some bite in attack.
That said, Wolves also still have big problems defensively.
Given how bad things are right now, Edwards already deserves major credit for wanting to come and take the job on.
