Wolves are demanding at least £45m to part ways with club captain Max Kilman who has accumulated a host of interest this summer.
Gary O’Neil has already secured three signings at Wolves this summer, with Tommy Doyle, Rodrigo Gomes and Pedro Lima committing their futures to Molineux.
Lima is expected to be unveiled after he turns 18 on July 1st, with other signings poised to follow as the summer progresses.
While a lot of the talk has been on arrivals, there are also expected to be departures, as Max Kilman’s future continues to be speculated.

Darren Ambrose thinks Wolves captain Max Kilman is worth £45m asking price
Wolves are believed to want at least £45m to part ways with their captain, who has generated interest from West Ham, Newcastle United and Manchester United already this summer.
Last week, Newcastle submitted a bid in an attempt to sign Kilman, following on from the Hammers’ bid believed to be in the region of £25m.
No one is yet to meet Wolves’ high asking price for Kilman, a figure that talkSPORT pundit Darren Ambrose thinks is fair considering the current market.
Speaking on talkSPORT in a transfer round-up, Ambrose admitted that he is not surprised that clubs are eyeing the centre-back.
“I really like Max Kilman I really do. I think he is a great defender, first and foremost. I think he is technically good as well. It doesn’t surprise me clubs are going to be asking for him.
“It’s crazy to say that you are just brandishing around figures like £45 million and saying ‘actually, that’s not bad’. But that’s the way football is, at the moment.”
Ambrose went on to explain why he believes that Wolves’ valuation of Kilman is fair.
“Look he is a good player. At 27, you are probably getting a good four or five years out of him. He is almost ever-present. In the last two seasons, he has missed one Premier League game, so he stays fit.”
Gary O’Neil should prepare for life without Kilman
Wolves will of course be reluctant to part ways with their captain however, if a bid in the region of £45m was to come in, it would be difficult to refuse.
Given that the Old Gold paid just £40,000 to sign the defender from Maidenhead United, a significant profit would be generated in the instance that he was sold for his asking price.

Kilman is a strong player although, he can’t be considered irreplaceable, something that should alert Wolves to play smart amid interest from lucrative Premier League sides.
It will be interesting to see how interest in the 27-year-old develops and how Wolves respond in the transfer market if their captain is to depart this summer.
