Wolves fans are eager to see their new man Ladislav Krejci in action after he made the move from Spanish side Girona.
The Czech defender was an unused substitute in Wolves’ 3-2 loss to Everton, so fans of the Old Gold have had to wait to watch him.
Krejci brings qualities that Wolves fans will love, and to see him show those in the black and gold is something supporters are anticipating.
The international break is on, and Krejci was called up for his nation, providing an opportunity to see him play.
He started as part of a back four, as Czechia went on to beat Montenegro 2-0 in World Cup qualifiers.
Czech fans have been reacting to the win online, and Wolves’ latest signing has got a lot of mentions for his performance.
Czech fans praise Wolves’ Ladislav Krejci against Montenegro

After picking up a 2-0 win, Czech fans were quick to go on social media and discuss the match. Wolves’ Ladislav Krejci received a lot of praise from them.
One fan said, ‘Krejci, today the best on the field.’
Another supporter went online to say, ‘Excellent Krejci and Holeš. Decent Provod. The rest a disaster.’
Another Czech fan said only two players were good for their nation, including the Wolves defender by saying, ‘Provod was good, Krejčí too, otherwise misery.’
Additionally, one supporter gave an assessment that bodes well for Wolves by saying, ‘Lada Krejci, calm, perspective.’
This essentially means he plays with maturity and stays composed when under pressure.
Supporters were not alone in their assessment as Czech media also praised the performance of Krejci.
This will no doubt excite Wolves fans, who have been crying out for someone who can shore up the defence, and that is exactly what Pereira should do with Krejci.
He could also give them more pace at the back.
Ladislav Krejci should be used in defence not midfield
There was talk that Ladislav Krejci could be used as a midfielder for Wolves, and Jeff Shi mentioned Krejci by name when discussing midfield options.
However, the composure and maturity at the back that Krejci showed for Czechia is something that Wolves have been missing.
There have been countless erratic mistakes in their own half, and having someone like the 26-year-old who can bring calmness to the backline would be a major help.
Vitor Pereira has asked Agbadou to simplify his game, and perhaps someone like Krejci can hop into that role to improve the defence while the Ivorian tries to return to form.
Unfortunately, the next three games won’t be an easy introduction to Premier League action, as Wolves play both Newcastle and Tottenham away with relegation rivals Leeds at Molineux sandwiched in between.
Either way, Krejci needs to be part of the backline.
