There is a lot riding on Wolves’ upcoming clash with West Ham United at the London Stadium.
There’s no time to dwell after Wolves were humiliated by Everton as the Midlands club return to action in the Premier League on Monday night.
Gary O’Neil shared his verdict on his future ahead of the Old Gold’s meeting with West Ham on match day 15.
The meeting in east London will stand for a lot as both O’Neil and Julen Lopetegui have their futures under the microscope.

Sacking decision made ahead of Wolves clash vs West Ham
The fixture was branded ‘El Sackico’ by Jamie O’Hara on talkSPORT [05/12/24], who saw the humour in what is a nervy situation for both clubs.
Ironically, Wolves could decide former boss Lopetegui’s fate, as it’s not only O’Neil whose job is in trouble.
While O’Neil is set to remain in charge for the West Ham clash, it’s now understood that the Spaniard is in a similar situation.
That’s according to journalist Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail, who shared an update on Loeptegui’s future ahead of playing his ex-club.
Mokbel took to X to reveal that West Ham do not plan on dismissing Lopetegui before welcoming Wolves to the London Stadium, emphasising the importance of the fixture.
Beyond the 90 minutes on Monday evening, the futures of both coaches remain unclear, with there a possibility that the result could buy either figure time.
Arguably the most important three points of the season for both Wolves and West Ham will be on the line in the capital.
How West Ham’s start compares to Wolves’
There was fear that West Ham would sack Lopetegui before the Wolves game as some feared the ‘new manager bounce’ theory.
Fortunately, that is one positive ahead of the fixture, with fans set to head to the game not knowing what the future holds for their club.

Loeptegui left Wolves controversially last summer, passing the baton to O’Neil who has since failed to keep his early spark alive.
The Spaniard hasn’t impressed in east London, as the Hammers sit down in 14th, six points above the relegation zone.
Wolves on the other hand are 19th, having won two of their 14 games compared to the Irons’ four in 14 under Lopetegui.
It’s set to be a battle that could determine the futures of two managers on Monday night, in what will be a thriller of great importance.
