Matt Jarvis was known for rising bums off seats at Molineux, as the tricky winger starred for Wolves in the Premier League.
Matt Jarvis frightened defenders with his electric pace for five years, joining in the summer of 2007 from Gillingham before departing for West Ham in 2012.
The Englishman was an incredibly exciting player to watch, matching his speed and dribbling with precision in attack.
In 175 appearances for Wolves, Jarvis accumulated 21 goals and 33 assists, including promotion back to the Premier League in 2009 and then relegation in 2012.
The 38-year-old, who retired in July 2021 after a spell with Woking, saw it all during his time at Molineux and has previously answered some important questions.

Matt Jarvis named Steven Fletcher as the best he played with at Wolves
Jarvis played with some exceptional talents at the club, notably industrious midfielder Dave Edwards, poacher Kevin Doyle and versatile defender Richard Stearman.
But when naming the best he played with at Wolves in an interview five years ago, Jarvis selected Steven Fletcher above everyone else, although he did admit it was perhaps ‘controversial’.
“That is a difficult one. I had a very good relationship on the pitch with Steven Fletcher. Purely and simply on a goal-scoring basis, we linked up extremely well. I would probably go with him, even though it might be a bit controversial,” Jarvis told Wolves official in 2020.
Cutting in on his favoured right foot down the left wing, Jarvis often swung in some tantalising crosses for Fletcher to get on the end of.
The Scottish striker was prolific at Molineux, hitting double figures for goals in the 2010/11 and 2011/12 Premier League campaign.

Wolves fans enjoyed his instinctive finishing ability before he completed a transfer to Sunderland in 2012, and now the striker is still destroying defences in League One.

Fletcher is helping fire Wrexham to promotion
Wrexham pulled off the shock move to sign Fletcher in the summer of 2023 when they were in League Two. The 38-year-old helped fire the Red Dragons into the third tier and is now playing a similar role in 2024/25.
Phil Parkinson’s men are inside the automatic promotion places by three points, although third-place Wycombe Wanderers do have a game in hand.
This season, the ‘immense’ Fletcher, as dubbed by teammate Ollie Rathbone, has scored seven goals in 32 appearances, with most of his minutes coming from the bench.
As it stands, he’s scored 15 goals in 69 appearances for the Welsh side, who are thankful he was persuaded to sign for the club by owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds.
