Conor Coady has talked up new Wolves manager Bruno Lage in an interview with the club’s website.
Coady hasn’t had long to work with Lage, but has clearly been impressed with what he’s seen.
He also offered an insight into the intensity of training under the new boss.

“He’s been great, he’s been enthusiastic, he’s been exciting on the training pitch in terms of a new way of playing, and making sure we’re doing things right on the training pitch,” said Coady of Lage.
“He’s been making sure we’re trying as much as we can on what he’s trying to implement, and you can see that. It’s something we need a lot of work on, we’ll keep on working on it as much as possible.
“It’s about working every single day, working hard, we’ve had double sessions, it’s been a tough week for me and three or four weeks for the boys.
“So it’s been tough, but we’re willing to do that, to make it work, we’re listening to the manager every day to try implement his ideas.”

Coady shared in an interview last month that he’d exchanged texts with Lage within days of his appointment.
That laid the groundwork for a strong relationship between captain and manager which will be vital this season.
Coady is a strong leader and will ensure the squad are working as hard as they can to implement Lage’s new ideas.
Time will tell how well they work in the Premier League but Lage will hope to make his team a more potent force than they were last season.
