Wolves captain Conor Coady scored his first goal for England tonight on his full Three Lions debut against Wales, helping the team to a 3-0 win.
The 27-year-old was handed a start by Gareth Southgate at Wembley, playing as part of a back three with Michael Keane and Joe Gomez.

Coady was on hand to score England’s second goal of the night on 53 minutes, meeting a perfectly placed Kieran Trippier free-kick to stab home like a centre-forward at the back post.
Coady, as Wolves fans know full well, is not a goalscorer and so it was great to see the skipper put one away for his country on only his second appearance.
Minutes later, Coady’s night went from great to special when he assumed the captain’s armband when Trippier was substituted off.

Amazingly, his goal means he now has a 50% strike rate at international level.
One man who was watching on from home was Morgan Gibbs-White, who certainly found Coady scoring amusing.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote ‘Coads your the best’ along with three accompanying laughing emojis.
The midfielder, who is on loan at Swansea City, will no doubt be delighted for the central defender as will all Wolves supporters who watched the game tonight.
