Bruno Lage had not had the results to match the level of performances leading up to the game.

But Wolves finally broke their goalscoring duck against Watford, with Francisco Sierralta putting into his own net with around 15 minutes to go

Wolves’ final signing of the summer Hwang then bundled in a second shortly after to make sure of the points.

Getting Hwang in on loan was undoubtedly great business by the club, and Coady lavished praise on his new teammate after his cameo.

He said: “He’s incredible. He’s a great fella, a real good fella. He’s improving every day and he’s not trained much with us, only the last couple of days, but you’ve seen today how sharp he is, how happy he is, how much he runs, how aggressive he is when he presses people, and then quality on the ball as well.”

Hwang signing will lift Wolves

Hwang has the potential to be a really good addition for Wolves.

Not only does he have quality of the ball, but he is tenacious and energetic which will stand him in very good stead playing under Lage.

It seems he’s already made a big impression given Coady’s words.

And he could well be the man to get Raul Jimenez back on the goalscoring trail.

The Mexican has struggled a little so far, which is to be expected given the awful injury he sustained.
