Conor Coady was in the Sky Sports studio yesterday, and told Wolves fans what they should expect from Rob Edwards moving forward.
Wolves lost their latest Premier League game against Aston Villa on Sunday to remain firmly rooted to the bottom of the table.
Boubacar Kamara’s goal was the difference between the two teams, and there was frustration about Wolves’ lack of a cutting edge.
Are you confident Rob Edwards will help Wolves avoid relegation?
Wolves created chances against Villa but unfortunately lacked the killer finish. But it has to be said, there was also an inspired performance between the sticks from Emi Martinez.
Fans were buoyed by the display, and Edwards took a number of positives from the game.
But Wolves now have to start getting points on the board – and Conor Coady has assured Wolves fans of one thing Edwards will bring.
Conor Coady suggests Rob Edwards will bring an identity to Wolves

Things were really bad under Vitor Pereira before his sacking a month ago.
Wolves were just all over the place and were conceding too many and not scoring enough.
The Portuguese was also constantly chopping and changing, hoping to stumble on a winning formula.
During the course of the season, many fans have remarked how Wolves just don’t seem to have a recognised way of playing.
There have been lots of different types of performances, and Wolves’ lack of an identity may have harmed their cause.
Conor Coady is in no doubt about what Rob Edwards will bring to Wolves 💯
But former skipper Coady – who was surprisingly linked with a coaching role at Wolves recently – believes this will change under Edwards, who will bring recognised patterns of play, which is something we just didn’t see under Pereira.
He said on Sky: “I think he can create an idea. He’s talking about the basics there of running forward and running back, but what Rob will bring is an idea on the pitch. He’ll give the lads a way of playing. There’ll be patterns of play.”
Coady suggests Jorgen Strand Larsen could become key under Edwards
One player who has had a season to forget so far is Jorgen Strand Larsen.
The Norway international has had fitness issues, and has also suffered from losing key creators like Matheus Cunha, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Pablo Sarabia.
But Coady feels Strand Larsen could become key once Edwards establishes an identity at Wolves.

“He (Edwards) has got a good striker in Strand Larsen. Let’s not forget Newcastle United were going to pay £50 million for him in the summer.
“He’s a decent striker, a good striker. To get him scoring goals is a massive, massive part of it. But I do think he’ll bring an idea on the training pitch.”
After the defeat to Villa, Strand Larsen admitted he felt ‘fresh’ for the first time since his injury troubles this season, and hopefully he can now kick on under Edwards and drag this team up the table.
It’s going to be very hard work, with Wolves lacking quality in the final third. But Strand Larsen has obviously shown that if he gets good service, he can be a good source of goals for the team.
