Confirmed Wolves XI to face Brentford as Rob Edwards makes Mateus Mane decision

Wolves’ starting line-up to face Brentford has been confirmed.

Almost a week on from Wolves’ narrow defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates, the Old Gold return to action at 3 pm on a Saturday, taking on Brentford at Molineux.

Jeff Shi’s departure has given the game a slightly different air, but there are still plenty of points to get across as the protests scheduled for the 18th and 77th minute are still on.

Rob Edwards has shocked everyone with his team selection for the Brentford clash.

Ki-Jana Hoever, Jose Sa, Fer Lopez and Santiago Bueno all come in for Toti Gomes, Sam Johnstone, Emmanuel Agbadou and Yerson Mosquera.

Meanwhile, Mateus Mane still awaits his first start for Wolves.

Fer Lopez one of four changes as Sam Johnstone is swapped for Jose Sa. Thoughts?🤔

Wolves are desperate for that first win of the season

Wolves find themselves rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table with no signs of improvement.

Derby County’s points record is a big worry for supporters and the players, with the reputation of the club diminishing by the day.

Today’s opponents, Brentford, have some issues of their own, having lost their last four away games in the Premier League, so there is hope.

However, Wolves haven’t won in any of their last three games against Brentford.

Can Wolves finally win a Premier League game this weekend?
