One Wolves player had a game to forget last night for his country.
The October international break has now concluded and in a few days time, the Premier League will be back.
And Vitor Pereira will again attempt to oversee a first victory, having come agonisingly close in the last two matches.
It’s Sunderland up next for Wolves, who will ideally be taking all three points against both the Black Cats and Burnley.
Matt Jarvis believes Wolves need to take a minimum of four points from the next two games, and certainly, a haul less than that would be disappointing.
Wolves appear not to have picked up any injuries from the international break, with Jorgen Strand Larsen also coming through unscathed.
But as far as heading into the Sunderland game with momentum is concerned, Strand Larsen could be better prepared.

Jorgen Strand Larsen branded ‘almost invisible’ on rare start for Norway

Strand Larsen said earlier this week that’s he’s still struggling with his Achilles injury that ruled him out of a couple of games for Wolves recently.
The striker has not been his usual self this season, and is yet to score in the Premier League.
This international break might have been a useful exercise for him to build momentum ahead of returning to Wolves.
But he only got a cameo last week against Israel, and last night in the friendly against New Zealand, he started but struggled.
Dagbladet rated his performance just 3/10, saying of him: “Unfortunately! Was not close to seizing the opportunity in Haaland’s absence.
“Almost invisible and made a lot of mistakes. Affected by the Achilles injury.”

Frustration for Strand Larsen and Wolves
Wolves could have done with Strand Larsen finding the net last night, or at the very least playing a big part for his country.
But the Wolves number nine’s struggles continued and right now, he has zero momentum whatsoever.

Wolves are rock bottom of the table and need their main man to rediscover his mojo as soon as possible.
With players like Matheus Cunha, Rayan Ait-Nouri and Pablo Sarabia having left the club, the onus is on Strand Larsen to deliver.
But this injury does appear to be hindering Strand Larsen, and so long as that is the case, then Wolves’ struggles up top may continue.
