It is always good to keep an eye on footballers’ Instagram profiles.
Every now and then, something interesting crops up.
That was the case yesterday when Nelson Semedo uploaded a photo.
The wing-back uploaded a couple of pictures, one of him stood against his Porsche, and another of him arms folded on what looks to be the top of said Porsche.
A number of Wolves players commented on the post.
Daniel Podence commented ‘tauas’ with a few flame emojis. That apparently translates to ‘bye’.
Injured star Pedro Neto seemed to appreciate his fellow countryman’s upload, as did Ki-Jana Hoever.
Conor Coady also gave a typically humorous response, writing ‘You can explain these pictures to me tomorrow? I’m not sure Nelson, I’m not sure’.
Also in the comments was a rather interesting individual.
Midfielder Renato Sanches, heavily linked with a move to Molineux as the last transfer window drew to a close, also showed his appreciation of Semedo’s post.
In the end, a move fell through with Wolves having concerns about the player’s knee injury he is currently recovering from.
Sanches to Wolves in January is obviously a done deal then…
Of course, Semedo and Sanches know one another quite well from the international setup.
It will be interesting to see if anything happens on the transfer front in January. Many a Wolves fan would like that to be the case.
Obviously there is a big Portuguese contingent at the club.
If Lage is still keen for Sanches to join, perhaps he can enlist the help of agent Semedo…
