Wolves fell to a 2-1 defeat against Arsenal on Saturday night, but there was a maiden Premier League goal for Tolu Arokodare.
The Old Gold lost in devastating fashion as the Gunners snatched all three points via an own goal by Yerson Mosquera, which was Wolves’ second of the game.
Rob Edwards’ men gave a good account of themselves at the Emirates Stadium and were much more organised than in recent matches.
Wolves fans – Tolu up top with Mane and Lopez in behind, yay or nay? 🤔
If you think there's a better alternative, let us know!
A number of players did well, including Joao Gomes and the defence.
But sadly, it just wasn’t enough as Arsenal came away with all three points.
Edwards should be pleased with what he saw though, because it was much better than anything we saw in the early weeks of the campaign.
And one big positive is that Tolu Arokodare is now off the mark in the league.
Christantus Uche shares Tolu Arokodare prediction as Wolves striker scores first Premier League goal

Arokodare was Wolves’ final signing of the summer transfer window, costing around £24 million from Belgian side Genk.
He arrived at the club after plundering 23 goals across all competitions last season, but up to now we haven’t really seen that goalscoring prowess from the Nigerian.
But in his defence, Arokodare has warmed the bench a lot so far – and many will argue he should have played a lot more than he has.
Well his minutes may well increase now, after he opened his Premier League account against Arsenal.
Will the floodgates open for Tolu Arokodare now he’s opened his Premier League account?
Christantus Uche seems to think so… 👀
He took his goal really well, adjusting quickly to get his head to the fizzing ball across from Mane, and it was just such a shame it did not count for any points in the end.
But he’s off the mark, and Christantus Uche – a player Wolves almost signed in the summer – feels it’s clear what happens now.
He commented on Arokodare’s latest Instagram post saying ‘More is coming bro 🔥🔥’.
Arokodare must start now for Wolves
Arokodare now has three goals in total for Wolves and it’s hard to argue against him not starting games.
Jorgen Strand Larsen continues to lack influence and impact, and the partnership with him and Arokodare has not really looked all that promising.
Edwards has surely got to consider just dropping a player who is badly out of form at this point.

Arokodare has come in games and looked a handful, and he is clearly a decent finisher.
Wolves fans want to see Arokodare supported by Fer Lopez and Mateus Mane, but there is also scope for the Nigerian playing in a two up top, either with Mane or Hwang Hee-chan.
Either way, Edwards will surely find it tricky to overlook him now.
It does feel the right play to give Arokodare the chance to build momentum and as Uche says, perhaps plenty more goals will follow.
