Chris Sutton has given his verdict for Wolves vs Leeds, and foresees only one winner amid a decision in he labels as ‘odd’.
The Old Gold host the Whites at Molineux with the away team facing a triple injury blow ahead of proceedings.
Despite the positive boost, Wolves’ historical precedent does not bode well for them. Additionally, Leeds have recently been a bogey team for the Old Gold.
Three points are an absolute must this weekend, as anything less would pile even more pressure onto Vitor Pereira, despite his signing a new deal.
Sutton has now had his say, and he has picked out a winner for Saturday’s game.

Chris Sutton delivers Wolves vs Leeds prediction
Chris Sutton believes Wolves will get the better of Daniel Farke’s Leeds United.
The 52-year-old has predicted, via the BBC, that the Old Gold will secure a 1-0 win at Molineux saying, “Wolves are without the injured Jorgen Strand Larsen up front, which is a blow, but I am still backing them to win this one – maybe a new contract for Pereira will mean a new dawn for his team?”
The new deal for Vitor Pereira could breathe life into his side with Wolves being lacklustre this season and poor in front of goal.
A win against Leeds on Saturday could spark a turnaround in form.

Sutton says the Portuguese manager will be without Strand Larsen, but an update from Liam Keen suggests the Norwegian could feature.
If Strand Larsen is fit to make the squad, that would be a major boost. Either way, it is likely that Tolu Arokodare will start, as Larsen’s minutes will be managed upon his return.
Chris Sutton says Vitor Pereira contract decision is ‘odd’
Before giving his prediction, Chris Sutton also touched on the news of Vitor Pereira being handed a new contract.
Sutton said, “When I lost at predictions a few weeks running last season, I didn’t get a call from the BBC offering me a new deal.
“Yet that is what seems to be happening with Wolves boss Vitor Pereira, which is really odd. They have already lost their first four league games, and if he loses the next four they will be calling for his head.”

The former Celtic striker’s sentiments do not stand on their own. Many Wolves fans have questioned the timing of the new deal, and perhaps Fosun should have waited.
However, stability is key, and if the players are shown that Pereira will be sticking around, they’ll have to work hard to ensure a place in his team, rather than waiting for a new manager to come in.
The decision is risky by Fosun, but based on the job the Portuguese manager did last season, it is the correct choice.
It is time to get behind Pereira, but the manager also needs to start putting points on the board. It is a two-way street.
