We are in December, and Wolves are still in search of their first Premier League win, with the chance to change that against Brentford.
The Old Gold are underdogs once more as Brentford enter the game with higher odds of winning.
The Bees, though, could be without some key players, and that will provide the Wanderers with more hope following their impressive showing vs Arsenal.
Chris Sutton has now given his verdict on Saturday’s fixture, and the former Premier League footballer believes Wolves can get a result due to one big factor.
💭 Agree or Disagree: With Brentford likely missing some key attackers on Saturday, Rob Edwards should go bold and play a back four!
Chris Sutton highlights Brentford’s poor away record in his Wolves prediction

A Premier League win has eluded Wolves for far too long, and with this being the last game before Christmas, three points vs Brentford would be an excellent present for fans.
When it comes to the game, Chris Sutton believes Wolves will have something to cheer about as he points to Brentford’s terrible away record.
However, Rob Edwards will certainly be looking to secure more than just a point.
Sutton said (via BBC Sport), “Rob Edwards needs something, anything, to go his way after five defeats from five games, and maybe – just maybe! – he will get a crumb of comfort on Saturday.
Wolves and Brantham Athletic are the only two teams in English football without a win this season 😬
“The reason I say that is because Brentford’s away record is woeful, with seven defeats and just one win in the Premier League so far.
“I still think the Bees might nick it, but instead I am going for Wolves to get a point and bring a tiny bit of Christmas cheer to Molineux, although I am not sure how long it will last.”
In the end, Sutton has predicted a 1-1 draw between the two sides, but he was not too confident about it.
Wolves also do not have a great record vs Brentford
While the Bees’ away record is quite poor, they seem to have a decent record at Molineux.
In the four Premier League games between the two sides at Wolves’ home ground, the Wanderers have only managed to win on one occasion.
This came in a 2-0 win back in April 2023. Other than that, Brentford have won twice, and the points have been shared once.
Hopefully, the Old Gold can tie that head-to-head record this weekend and secure a massive three points, as Keith Andrews is expecting a tough game.
