Chris Sutton makes score prediction for Nottingham Forest vs Wolves

BBC pundit Chris Sutton has given his score prediction for Nottingham Forest vs Wolves this weekend.

Julen Lopetegui takes his side to the City Ground on Saturday looking to get things back on track.

Back-to-back defeats against Newcastle United and Leeds United have placed supporters right back on edge.

A few weeks ago there was real optimism about Wolves.

Lopetegui masterminded a couple of great wins over Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.

But Wanderers have been unable to pull clear.

Goalscoring remains an issue, and there is a feeling that Wolves could be in for an uncomfortable end to the season if that continues to be a problem.

Forest will undoubtedly give Wolves a very tough game this weekend. Potentially, there might not be much between the two sides.

That’s how Sutton sees it going. But he does reckon Wolves will edge the contest.

Predicting a 0-1 win for the visitors, he said (BBC Sport): “This is another tricky one, between two more teams in the bottom nine. I am worried about Wolves, who are still in trouble, but not as much as I am about Nottingham Forest.

“It really feels like Forest can only pick up points at home, which piles the pressure on them for fixtures like this.

“They lost their long unbeaten run at the City Ground against Newcastle last time out so this game feels even bigger.

“The Forest fans have got behind their side so well all season but the players will be really nervous now. It’s the same for a lot of the teams down there of course, but we don’t know how they will handle that.

“I don’t see there being many goals – even one might be enough to decide things.”

Wolves must not let Nottingham Forest into the game on Saturday

Forest will be bang up for this contest – and Wolves must not let them get a foothold.

It is very important for Wolves to start well and not allow the crowd to lift the Reds.

Grabbing a goal to settle them down would be absolutely ideal. so hopefully ew will be seeing a Wolves performance full of purpose.

A win here, after the defeats to Leeds and Newcastle, would be absolutely huge. Especially heading into the next game against Chelsea.
