Wolves winger Chiquinho has seemingly made a return to light training at Compton Park.
The youngster has not played so far this season, after sustaining an awful knee injury in the summer.
Chiquinho damaged knee ligaments in a behind-closed-doors friendly match against Burnley.
He has been working very hard to get back to fitness, so that he can build on his positive performances from last season.
Chiquinho was perhaps Wolves’ brightest spark in the second half of last season.
The team limped to the finish line under Bruno Lage. But the youngster made a real impression with his pace and dribbling ability.
So when Chiquinho picked up his knee injury, fans were gutted.
But it might be that Chiquinho could be on course to return before the season is out.
The 23-year-old yesterday uploaded a couple of pictures of him outdoors at Compton Park. It appears that he has now resumed some form of light training.
Wolves are due to drop new training photos soon, and they maybe confirm where exactly Chiquinho is up to.
From the two photos, it looks like Chiquinho has definitely bulked up, having been forced to spend a lot of time in the gym.
He included the caption ‘Work hard in the end it will be worth it’.

It is brilliant to see Chiquinho back out on the pitches at Compton Park.
He probably still has a way to go yet before being back involved with the first-team.
One would imagine he’ll get working on his mobility with and without the ball, before rejoining his teammates in the coming weeks. He will then probably need minutes with the U21s, like Pedro Neto has been doing recently.
But it’s a positive sign that he’s back outdoors, and fans will really hope he can play again this season. He was included in Wolves’ update Premier League squad, unlike Sasa Kalajdzic.
