Frank Lampard gave credit to Wolves after yesterday’s 1-0 result at Molineux, admitting the home side were physical and worked hard.
Wolves took a huge three points against the Blues thanks to a stunning goal from Matheus Nunes, 24.

Nunes put in a fine performance, and scored one of the goals of the season with a half-volley into the top corner.
Wanderers have gone four points clear of the the relegation zone with the win.
And if Julen Lopetegui can get his side playing like that every weekend, there will be no fears of going down come the end of the season.
After yesterday’s game, Chelsea boss Lampard gave his thoughts. He was disappointed with his side’s display, but did praise Wolves and also reacted to Nunes’ goal.
He told BBC Sport: “First-half I felt we were 70% or so. I think it was enough for it to be an even game. But then, a rocket of a goal out of nowhere.

“Credit to Wolves today – they were physical. there’s a lot on the line for them as there is for us and everybody.
“They worked hard and stuck in there for a win.”
Chelsea had just one shot on target in the game, meaning a quiet afternoon for Jose Sa.
That is credit to the fantastic performances the back from Craig Dawson, Max Kilman, Toti Gomes and Nelson Semedo.
They also had brilliant protection from Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes.
Wolves were physically superior to Chelsea and also just played better football
Wolves were better than Chelsea in every department yesterday.
It really was one of Wanderers’ best displays, and the 4-4-2 system feels like it will give Wolves the best chance to win games.

It is hard to understand why that level of fight and hunger has not been there in previous games.
But hopefully it will now be a staple thing for Wolves. The Molineux atmosphere was electric as a result of the performance, and massively helped the players see out the game.
