Bruno Lage has explained that he sees Chem Campbell and Chiquinho on the same level at Wolves.
The pair were both on the bench for last week’s game with Newcastle United.

And it was Campbell who actually got the nod ahead of Chiquinho as Wolves went in search of an equalising goal at St. James’ Park.
That was Campbell’s first-team debut, and a moment he will never forget.
It was somewhat of a surprise to see Campbell getting on ahead of Chiquinho.
The January signing from Estoril has made a few cameo appearances already, and he’s looked pretty lively every time he’s taken to the field.
It seems the pair are in direct competition with one another for minutes, and Lage has said that there is little between them right now.

He said: “I put Chiquinho and Chem at the same level. Chem has worked a lot with us but when we have a space on the bench I prefer Chiquinho instead of Chem because Chiquinho can play as an attacking right-back.
“I put both kids in the same position and we don’t drop Chem. He’s having a fantastic season for the under-23s and is scoring goals. We believe a lot in him.
“Chiquinho, every time he has a chance, he shows things. He has five minutes but gives everything for the club, that’s the character, personality and ambition that I like in young players. Every chance they have they take.
Chiquinho and Campbell can push each other at Wolves
Lage seems quite happy with both Campbell and Chiquinho.
Chiquinho has been making the first-team squad more of late, but obviously Campbell was finally handed his Premier League debut last week and is seemingly progressing very well.

It’s good that the pair are really pushing for minutes now.
They are not so dissimilar meaning they can really push each other to try and earn the trust of Lage.
It is a healthy situation, and hopefully, both will end up becoming more involved.
