Midfielder Bruno Jordao says he is targeting a place in the Wolves first-team.

The 22-year-old is currently out on loan at FC Farmalicao, where he has contributed one goal so far.

That goal, which came against Farense, was actually named the Liga NOS Goal of the Month for September and October.

Jordao, who signed for Wolves in the summer of 2019 from Braga, has made seven appearances for his adopted club so far and is very much enjoying being back in his homeland.

The youngster does say the Premier League is better than Liga NOS ‘in every aspect’, but is enjoying his experience nonetheless.

The main thing for Jordao is that he is playing week in week out, as in his words, he wants to be a part of Wolves’ first-team squad eventually.

He told the club’s official website: ““First of all, I want to be an option for Nuno, for sure.

“I really want to play for Wolves, but I want to be a player with more aggression, more intelligence, thinking with or without the ball – and obviously try to adjust myself to the ideas of Nuno and what he really wants for me and how he wants me to perform. That is my goal.”

High hopes for Jordao

It seems as though Jordao’s loan move is going well so far.

The star is a regular in the team and is playing in a team that has European football on its agenda, which will make his experience more meaningful.

The midfielder needs to work hard, especially since there are plenty of options for Nuno back at Molineux.
