Wolves loanee Dion Sanderson again started at the heart of the Birmingham defence as they travelled to face Huddersfield last night.
Lee Bowyer’s side got a 0-0 draw in Yorkshire, with Sanderson helping them keep a clean sheet.
Bowyer told the club website that Sanderson played ‘really well’ on the night.
The Birmingham Mail agreed with Bowyer’s assessment, making him the Blues’ man of the match in their player ratings.
They gave him an 8/10 rating and wrote: “Quick, powerful and decisive, the Wolves loanee was an assertive presence in the back three.
“Produced an important block late on and easily Blues’ best player.”

As per WhoScored, Sanderson made two clearances, two interceptions and a block. He also won four headers.
His performance earned plenty of praise from Birmingham fans on Twitter after the game.
