Some Birmingham City fans have been reacting to the latest performance of Wolves youngster Dion Sanderson for them out on loan.
The central defender started in last night’s Championship clash with Bristol City.
Despite having just 40% possession in the game, Lee Bowyer’s Blues ran out comfortable 3-0 winners.
Riley McGree opened the scoring early in the first-half.
Further goals came in the second-half from Scott Hogan and Gary Gardner.
The result lifts Birmingham up to 13th in the table, and is their third win on the spin.
Birmingham’s good form of late has coincided with a run in the side for Sanderson.
He has started the last five Championship matches, with City losing just one of those games to West Bromwich Albion.
In that period, the team have kept three clean sheets.
Last night, Sanderson – who signed a contract extension with Wolves before his move – put in another assured display in a back three for Birmingham.
Unfortunately though, the youngster was forced off at half-time with an injury.
Birmingham fans impressed with loan star Sanderson
Despite only playing half the game, Sanderson made a good impression last night.
The Birmingham Mail could only give the 21-year-old a 6.5 rating due to his early substitution. But their description of him did say that he looked ‘in total control’.
On social media, Blues fans have been showering praise on the Wolves man, whose development is certainly cause for excitement back at Molineux:

Been a while since Blues had such a comfortable game. Like Graham, works hard & loves getting a cross in. Sanderson’s a baller & I bet Deeney would love to be on the chances he’s creating for everyone else.
That said I dont we shouldn’t forget it’s bonfire night Friday #CallMe— Mike (@MikeJabBCFC) November 3, 2021
