Wolves crashed to yet another defeat in the Premier League, this time losing against Ipswich Town at Molineux.
Wolves lost in the 93rd minute against the Tractor Boys having got the game back level at 1-1.
Wolves’ shocking ability to defend set-pieces came back to bite them once again, as Jack Taylor nodded in a corner at the death.
The defending was also poor on the first goal, with pundit Kris Boyd branding it ‘a comedy of errors’ from Wolves.
There were ugly scenes once again after the full-time whistle, with Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri both losing their heads.
O’Neil slammed Ait-Nouri for his behaviour, and Cunha could well face a ban.
It was just another desperately poor day at the office for Wolves and on Match of the Day last night, Ashley Williams was left aghast by one comment O’Neil made.
Ashley Williams slams Gary O’Neil for response to Ipswich loss

Speaking after the game to the BBC, O’Neil had said: “The ability of the team to cope at this level is proving unbelievably difficult for us.
“I’ve worked at this level, this is my third year now. And I’ve never had so much of a struggle to help a group cope with the level, in real basic stuff, real basic stuff.”
Wolves’ performance was then analysed on Match of the Day, and the punditry team also looked at the unsavoury scenes at the end of the game.
But Ashley Williams was left unimpressed by the comments O’Neil made in his post-match interview.
He said on Match of the Day: “I’m not a fan of that, Gaz, because he’s kind of distanced himself from the players. He’s saying they’re at a certain level, and all of a sudden it’s not ‘us’ and ‘we’, it’s ‘them’ and ‘they’ – I don’t like that.”
Another shocking day for Wolves
O’Neil has been slammed for his reaction to the game, but you can also understand it a bit because the players are just constantly not carrying out instructions and as the Wolves manager says, it is ‘basic stuff’ a lot of the time.
However, O’Neil is obviously worthy of criticism as well, with Wolves all over the place once again.

Between the performance, the behaviour at the end and the fixtures that are coming up, things are really bad at the moment at Molineux.
Many are now fearing the absolute worst for this season, and Fosun’s running of the club looks like it will result in the worst possible outcome in May.
