Arsenal v Wolves’ last 10 fixtures including three wins and two draws

Wolves travel to Arsenal on Saturday as Gary O’Neil looks to get his side back to winning ways in the Premier League.

A controversial end to O’Neil’s last game meant Wolves walked away with nothing from the capital on Monday night.

The visitors are also without Joao Gomes and Mario Lemina after their bookings in the 3-2 defeat to Fulham.

However, while Arsenal might be a tough team to take with their current form, Wolves have shown in the past that they are more than capable of defeating them.

Another defeat, Wolves were unable to overcome the Gunners at Molineux despite a red card.

Gabriel netted the opener early on after bundling the ball into the net.

Gabriel Martinelli was later sent off to two yellow cards within a minute in the second period.

However, Wolves could not get that precious equaliser as they fell to their first Premier League defeat in six games.

One of the games that was part of Project Restart. Arsenal inflicted Wolves’ first defeat since January 2020 to damage their Champions League hopes. 

Saka netted his first-ever Premier League goal to put the visitor’s ahead just before half-time. Alexandre Lacazette then finished off the game with a strike in the 86th minute to give Arsenal a 2-0 win.

Wolves continued their good form with a credible performance at the Emirates.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring for Arsenal early on against the run of play. 

Wolves, who created a host of good opportunities struggled to take them until late in the day.

Jimenez then popped up with a great header from Moutinho’s cross to equaliser in the 76th minute and ensure points were shared.
