Wolves silenced the majority inside Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon with an impressive 1-0 victory over Manchester United.
Pablo Sarabia’s peach of a second-half free-kick saw Wolves make it five wins on the bounce for the first time in the Premier League as Vitor Pereira’s men moved up to 15th.
Truthfully, the game lacked any real excitement or quality till Sarabia fired home the dead ball, with both sides recording a combined four shots on target.
But, all that mattered was the three points for the Wanderers, as the Wolves supporters mocked Bruno Fernandes from the stands by claiming Ruben Neves is better.
Wolves fans also demanded a new contract for Sarabia, who sees his current deal expire in the summer, with one Arsenal star now praising the 32-year-old’s performance.

David Raya praised Pablo Sarabia for his match-winning goal
It’s been a difficult campaign for Sarabia, seeing his involvement restricted to substitute appearances, last starting in a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in February.
The Spaniard was hooked off at half-time in that match, and since then, he’s been made to settle for minutes from the bench.
In recent weeks, he’s made a telling impact on matches. He’s scored and assisted in the comeback win over Ipswich Town, and of course scored the beautiful match-winner on Sunday.
Sarabia did something unique against Manchester United, and Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya left a comment under the winger’s Instagram post after the game.
“You’re so good,” Raya wrote, accompanied by the raising hand and fire emojis, with some of his Wolves teammates also leaving comments.
Captain Nelson Semedo posted “Calidad hermanitoo”, which means “quality little brother”, despite Sarabia being older than him.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Dan Bentley – who performed well in the place Jose Sa against United – wrote: “Vamos”.
What Vitor Pereira said about Sarabia after Man United win
Although Sarabia is likely to leave Wolves this summer, the experienced winger is proving that he still has a lot to offer.
The silky playmaker can find pockets of space and produce brilliance, either from open play or a set-piece.
Celta Vigo want to sign Sarabia on a free transfer, and that would be some coup for the La Liga side, who would be gaining someone capable of winning a game on his own.
Speaking after the game, Pereira revealed that Sarabia works a lot on free-kicks and was impressed with the character he showed off the bench.
“He works a lot on the free-kicks,” Pereira said. “I like him a lot as a player and a person because he has the character that I like.
“We have quality in the squad. The confidence was not in a high level when we arrived but we start to give them confidence and in the end the results help to build something. We are building something good for the future. We have to go into the next game and believe and with our supporters we can do it.”
