Arsenal poach youngster
Wolves’ academy has always had a good reputation. The club have seen some great players come through their ranks such as Joleon Lescott, Robbie Keane and Morgan Gibbs-White.
Recent years have seen the resurgence of the academy with multiple youngsters now in and around the first-team such as Nathan Fraser and Tawanda Chirewa.
However, one player Wolves aren’t going to see the best of in old gold is Brayden Clarke. The youngster has left the club and is reportedly a target for Arsenal.

Gary O’Neil praises youngster

After the 3-0 loss away to Newcastle, there were few positives to take away from the game. However, one was the inclusion of Wesley Okoduwa.
The 15-year-old was in the Wolves squad for the first time against the Magpies. While he didn’t come off of the bench, the experience will be one he will remember for the rest of his life.
O’Neil was also quick to praise the youngster after the game for his commitment to training and his fitness.

Pedro Neto and Jose Sa update

One less positive to take away from the Newcastle defeat was the injuries. The club had already lost Matheus Cunha, Joao Gomes and Hwang Hee-Chan before the game. The latter was also confirmed to be out for at least six weeks.
On top of this, Neto and Sa were both forced off at half-time with Wolves already 2-0 down.
After the game, O’Neil confirmed that the duo had both picked up injuries and the manager did not want to risk them any further.
