Wolves came up just short in their latest Premier League game against Liverpool on Sunday.
Wanderers fell to a 2-1 defeat at Anfield, with Luis Diaz and Mo Salah on target for the hosts.
Wolves actually gave a good performance on Merseyside, but ultimately just didn’t have the quality in the final third.
Matheus Cunha scored a brilliant goal towards the end for Wolves to set up a nervy finish for Liverpool. but they held on.
Wolves fans have been left frustrated with the performance of referee Simon Hooper, who showed a real lack of consistency in the game regarding bookings and also yellow-carded Wolves players and also Vitor Pereira for dissent.
A number of Wolves players can hold their heads high, and after the game, Arne Slot and Andy Robertson both gave similar verdicts about Wolves.
Arne Slot and Andy Robertson praise Wolves

Pereira made a couple of changes at half-time with Wolves 2-0 down.
Pablo Sarabia, who Wolves fans really criticised, went off and so did Goncalo Guedes.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde and Marshall Munetsi both came on, and their introductions gave Wolves a bit more.
Wolves really did take the game to Liverpool in the second-half, leading to praise from Arne Slot and Andy Robertson.
Robertson said on Sky Sports: “It’s maybe part of it but I thought Wolves were excellent [in the] second half.
“They obviously made a couple of changes at half-time, they were 2-0 down and they have probably gone a little bit more attacking, put more forward players up in the areas. And that made it more difficult for us.
Slot added (via BBC Sport): “They got better and better, we got worse and worse. We had to show a different mentality which we did and got it over the line.”
Wolves must replicate performance vs Liverpool
The comments of Slot and Robertson won’t mean too much to Wolves.
But there’ll certainly be a lot of people who took note of how Wanderers played especially in the second-half – and that must now be the level the players strive for.
It was really good to see Wolves taking it to Liverpool, just as Pereira had suggested his side would do.
One would imagine that that level of performance will yield points in other games.
