It is safe to say that a lot of Wolves fans are concerned about the fate of the club this season.
Vitor Pereira did a terrific job last season, but has now overseen four defeats in the Premier League, and Wanderers are the only side in the division without a point.
There was an acceptance that Wolves would have a slow start given the tricky fixtures.
Pereira also arguably has a weaker squad now compared to last season.
But to have not picked up a single point so far is still disappointing.
Key to Wolves steering clear of relegation this season will be to have strong home form – but perhaps this was never going to be the case to begin with given the club’s recent record.

Wolves’ awful recent Molineux record in August and September

For the last few seasons now, Wolves have started very sluggishly.
That is perhaps indicative of the club leaving their business late, and new players therefore not having much time with their new teammates.
Frustratingly, Wolves’ record at Molineux in August and September has simply not been good enough.
As reported by BeIN Sports, Wolves have lost eight of their last nine matches at Molineux in August and September, winning the other.
And across those nine matches, they have conceded a whopping 28 goals.

Wolves must establish fear factor at Molineux
Once upon a time, teams actually did fear coming to Molineux.
In those first two seasons back in the Premier League, for many the prospect of facing a Wolves side at Molineux, managed by Nuno Espirito Santo, was uncomfortable.
That fear factor has long been lost, and Pereira has simply got to find it again or else this could be a long hard season.

The fans will play their part, but they can only do so much – it’s on the players to really get the crowd going and to help create that boisterous and intimidating atmosphere.
Hopefully, this will be the case against Leeds United on Saturday, in what is already a huge game.
There’s the added worry of Wolves losing four in a row to Leeds, and ideally this will serve as fuel and inspire Wolves to a much needed victory.
