Andy Thompson has lavished praise on a Wolves player he feels Vitor Pereira has really needed since coming to the club.
Wolves beat Blackburn Rovers on Sunday to progress through to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Joao Gomes and Matheus Cunha scored in the first-half for Wolves, and the double whammy knocked the stuffing right out of Blackburn.
In the second-half, Wolves controlled things and saw the contest out with relative ease.
It was a day of positives.
Marshall Munetsi made his debut for Wolves and fans enjoyed his display.
Matheus Cunha was back on top form fresh from signing his new contract at Wolves in what is a big boost for Vitor Pereira.
Andy Thompson has pleased with the display, and one player really caught his eye in particular.
Andy Thompson hails new Wolves signing Emmanuel Agbadou

On Sunday, Emmanuel Agbadou started his sixth game for Wolves since signing from Reims.
Agbadou has been getting better by the week, and against Blackburn he was potentially the best he’s been so far.
Chris Sutton described Agbadou as ‘exceptional’ during the game with Blackburn.
And more praise for the Ivorian followed after the game from Thompson, who reckons Agbadou is the player Wolves have been crying out for.
He said on Matchday Live Extra: “I thought he had a good game again today. I thought he looked so solid at the back. He’s what we needed. We needed somebody at the back who was going to strengthen that defence.
“He’s done really well for us again. He just looks in control doesn’t he? Looks in control of all situations.”
The comments come after Dave Edwards branded Agbadou a ‘revelation’ for Wolves, with many fans very impressed with his contributions so far.
Agbadou is a game-changer for Wolves
Wolves always needed a new centre-back heading into January, and ended the window with two.
Agbadou came in early doors, and has seriously hit the ground running.
The 27-year-old looks perfectly suited to the English game and has had a big impact on a previously fragile defence.
He just looks very calm, but is physically very strong with good mobility.
Agbadou recently scooped the Wolves Player of the Month award for January in a clear sign that fans are impressed with him.
Thompson is right when he says he’s exactly the player Pereira has needed at Wolves.
With him now patrolling the backline, there is real optimism Wolves can become much tighter, and pull away from the relegation zone.
