‘Amazing’: Fabio Silva left so impressed by £4 million Wolves player last night vs Blackpool

Fabio Silva is off the mark for Wolves after scoring in last night’s 5-0 win over Blackpool.

Wanderers are into the third round of the Carabao Cup after easily defeating the League One outfit at Molineux.

Gary O’Neil got the chance to use some players who haven’t seen much game time in the Premier League.

And it was brilliant to see Wolves converting chances.

Granted, it was not the strongest opposition.

But you can only beat what’s in front of you, and it was a very professional job by Wolves.

And there was one man that rather ran the show last night- and he came in for praise from Silva after the game…

Fabio Silva hails ‘amazing’ Pablo Sarabia after Blackpool win

Last night, Pablo Sarabia started for Wolves after being named on the bench against Everton.

The Spaniard needed a big performance last night – and he most certainly delivered one.

He was at the heart of everything for Wolves, and finished the game with three assists to his name.

Sarabia’s display was a reminder of the quality he does have, and Silva was left blown away by his contributions last night.

He said (via Wolves official): “Sarabia’s amazing. Everyone knows he has an amazing left foot and with him you only have to do the movement and that’s what I try to do. I try to do some combinations, so it comes more naturally.”

Sarabia set up Silva, Matt Doherty’s first, and Nathan Fraser’s goal on the night.

He also had the shot that led to Kalajdzic opening the scoring.

An encouraging display from Sarabia

This was the kind of performance Sarabia really needed.

Obviously Wolves will have much sterner tests this season. But Sarabia showed his quality last night. To get three assists in one game is pretty impressive regardless of who the opposition is.

Wolves fans will now hope to see more of this in the Premier League from Sarabia.

The £4 million signing is a quality player, but before last night it hadn’t really clicked for him at Wolves.

Hopefully this is the catalyst for him now. He could well be an absolutely key player for Gary O’Neil.
