Alan Shearer believes Wolves should have had a penalty in yesterday’s game with Arsenal.
Wanderers fell to a 2-0 defeat in the end at Molineux, meaning they will now be bottom of the Premier League whilst the season is suspended for the World Cup.

Martin Odegaard scored twice for the visitors.
Wolves did well in the first-half, having reverted back to a back three with wing-backs.
They restricted the Gunners, and Julen Lopetegui would have liked what he saw from the stands.
The Spaniard was unveiled to the crowd before the game, but unfortunately his presence could not inspire a result over the Premier League leaders.
The game might have panned out very differently had one decision gone in Wolves favour.
In the seventh minute, Boubacar Traore played the ball across to Goncalo Guedes, who was then bundled over by William Saliba in the area.
It was a clumsy challenge from the Frenchman. But no penalty was awarded because offside was given against Guedes. Replays showed he was not offside.

Shearer said on Match of the Day last night: “The offside becomes irrelevant Gary, because the VAR didn’t think the referee had made a clear and obvious error with the foul there.
“I did, I thought that was a foul. And they should have gone back and looked at that. He wasn’t offside, but it becomes irrelevant because they didn’t think it was a clear error.”
Huge decision went against Wolves and it could have been a vastly different game against Arsenal
Wolves fans are fuming over yesterday’s decision involving Guedes. And rightly so.
Davis said after the game that Wolves should have had a penalty. He also said that Saliba should also have been sent off.
In the end Guedes was given offside, and it is absolutely unfathomable that the on-field decision was not overturned.

Guedes was on, and he was then clearly upended.
Ruben Neves would have taken the penalty, and the Portuguese has a perfect record from the spot this season.
Had Wolves taken an early lead in the game, the contest could have been totally different. Especially had a red card also been given.
