Wolves produced a thrilling 4-2 victory over Tottenham on Sunday, sparking scenes of jubilation at Molineux.
Vitor Pereira made history by becoming the first Wolves manager to win four games on the bounce in over half a century, setting a relentless standard in the hot seat.
Dave Edwards has compared Pereira to Nuno Espirito Santo, labelling the Portuguese boss as ‘special’ and touching on the feel-good factor he’s created since arriving in Wolverhampton.
The 56-year-old has got the Old Gold playing some wonderful football with Jorgen Strand Larsen – who scored his 12th goal of the season – at the fore of their success.
The Norwegian centre-forward has now netted five in his last four matches, producing some of the best football of his career, yet he was snubbed from a Team of the Week mention.

Alan Shearer names Emmanuel Agbadou and Rayan Ait-Nouri in TOTW
There were several standout performers in the win over Spurs, and while Strand Larsen was one of them, Alan Shearer included Emmanuel Agbadou and Rayan Ait-Nouri in his Team of the Week.
Ait-Nouri scored and assisted, while Agbadou was a rock in the heart of their defence, sweeping up most attacks that came his way.

“Got Wolves up and running with the early goal and later provided an assist for Jorgen Strand Larsen. Top performance,” Shearer said of the Algerian via the Premier League’s website.
Meanwhile, on Agbadou he added: “Marshalled the defence very well, playing at the heart of Wolves’ back three against Spurs, as they made it four wins in a row.”
Ait-Nouri was named in Troy Deeney’s Team of the Week, telling of how impressive he was and some Wolves fans even labelled Agbadou as ‘world-class’.
Wolves could struggle to hold onto Ait-Nouri
All eyes are now on Wolves rise up the Premier League table and with it comes further interest in some of their star players.
Matheus Cunha is wanted by several big clubs, with the Brazilian superstar set to leave in the summer while Ait-Nouri is on the transfer radar of Liverpool and other sides.
Liverpool, in particular, are looking for a long-term replacement for Andy Robertson and could pursue a move for the 23-year-old.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde called Ait-Nouri one of the league’s best after Tottenham and the above statistics suggest why he’s held in such high regard.
So, while many are set on Cunha departing Molineux, £50 million-rated Ait-Nouri could also be at risk of exiting unless he signs a new contract like Joao Gomes did.
