Alan Pardew has worked under many football club owners throughout his career, and he sympathises with Vitor Pereira’s current situation at Wolves.
The Old Gold are rock bottom of the Premier League, and defeat to Burnley meant they are still winless this season.
The result left fans frustrated, and angry jeers were directed towards Vitor Pereira and the players following the full-time whistle.
Jorgen Strand Larsen apologised to fans, but that will not help ease tensions at the moment.
Many supporters want to see Vitor Pereira replaced, but the Wolves head coach’s job is safe in the immediate future.
Now, Alan Pardew has commented on the ongoing struggles at Wolves, and he feels sympathy for the 57-year-old.

Alan Pardew puts blame on owners and not Vitor Pereira
Alan Pardew feels sorry for Vitor Pereira and believes that he has been left in a difficult situation.
The former Crystal Palace manager has had a long career in football, and he has quite a few experiences in dealing with frustrating owners.
With Vitor Pereira at Wolves, he has had to deal with Fosun, who have not invested as much as they should have done, and the Englishman believes he’s been left to take the blame.
Pardew via TalkSPORT said, “The reason I was leaning to that conversation about the ownership and the investment in the summer is because this manager, who did have the fans on his side, is going to be the one who falls on the sword because the ownership can get away with it.
“They’ll bring a new manager, and you’ll get buoyed by it, and hopefully you will stay in the division. It is typical of the regimes you do have in the Premier League.”
The situation with Pereira is quickly becoming untenable. While the Wolves players are still backing the head coach, fans are starting to turn.
Wolves’ ownership is becoming more unpopular, but unfortunately, they are the hardest to replace at this stage.
However, there has been an offer to buy Wolves.
Vitor Pereira is another victim of Fosun’s terrible ownership
Vitor Pereira is an excellent head coach, and he proved it last season. However, at this stage, he is the easiest person to replace amid the current struggles.
He has been left high and dry in the transfer window with the Wanderers selling many of last season’s top performers and not signing players who could fill that void.
Fans loved Pereira, and while the tides have turned, they will still remember those times they chanted his name.
However, they do not want to get relegated, and the only realistic option is for the head coach to change.
It is an unfortunate situation, but that is quite frankly the reality, and he will join the long list of top-quality managers who have been let down by Fosun.
