Wolves are going to be a Premier League team next season. Vitor Pereira has done a superb job since taking charge at the end of last year.
The Old Gold are mathematically safe with 17 points clear of the drop and just five games left to play.

Pereira’s turnaround has been remarkable. The Wolves manager has transformed the side with their recent form something to behold.

Wolves among Europe’s most in form teams
The Old Gold’s recent run of results has seen them win five on the bounce. Wolves’ latest victory came away against Manchester United.
Their other wins saw them beat Spurs 4-2, Ipswich 2-1, West Ham 1-0 and Southampton 2-1.

Consequently, so impressive has the side’s domestic form been, Wolves are now the second most in-form team in all of Europe’s top 5 leagues, bettered only by Luis Enrique’s Paris Saint-Germain.
Wolves’ form has put them ahead of some huge clubs, including La Liga powerhouses, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
The Vitor Pereira effect on full display
Obviously, the side’s turnaround is down to one man, and one man only.
Not only did Pereira make some smart signings in January, including bringing Emmanuel Agbadou and Marshall Munetsi in from Stade Reims, but he’s revolutionised the side and brought the sense of togetherness back.
This most recent run of form is the result of the Portuguese’s impact, and it isn’t like Wolves have had it easy. While Ipswich and Southampton are below them in the table, you’d still expect West Ham, Man United and Spurs to get something. That hasn’t been the case, though.
Pereira’s Old Gold are one of the most feared sides in Europe, and with already-relegated Leicester City up next, things could get even better.
