It has been a frustrating week for Wolves fans, but there is some good news ahead of the game with Liverpool this weekend.
Last Saturday, Wanderers crashed to a 3-1 defeat against Aston Villa.
Wolves took the lead at Villa Park, but once again stepped off the gas and allowed their opponents to get back into the game and take all three points.
Yerson Mosquera got stretchered off during that game, and the club confirmed earlier this week that the defender has suffered ACL and MCL damage and likely won’t play again this season.
The loss of Mosquera is tough to take.
But there is at least a small bit of good news today with one player returning to training.
Toti Gomes spotted training at Compton after recent injury for Wolves

Wolves will do well to get anything out of the game with Liverpool this weekend.
That said, the Reds have already lost once in the Premier League this season to Nottingham Forest at home and that will be encouraging.
Wolves obviously cannot count on Mosquera for the game.
But one man who looks to be available again for Wolves is Toti Gomes, who has missed the last three matchday squads through injury.
Toti had an issue with his hamstring following the 1-1 draw with Forest, and was not risked against Newcastle United, Brighton in the Carabao Cup or Aston Villa.
But Wolves have released some new training photos this morning, revealing that Toti has been backing training ahead of the Liverpool game.
Gary O’Neil is due to speak to the press tomorrow and will be able to share where the player is up to regarding his fitness.
Boost for Wolves, Toti could actually start
It is good news that Toti appears to be ready to play against Liverpool – and it’s possible we could actually see him back in the starting XI against Liverpool.
Toti has not had the best of starts to the new season.
But we know that he suits a back three quite well and it may well be that O’Neil is considering reverting back to the old system against a side with some big threats.
Or, O’Neil might deploy Toti – who Wolves signed for just £900,000 from Estoril – as a left-back in a four to deal with Mo Salah, with Rayan Ait-Nouri operating more as a winger.
It will be interesting to see what he does but Wolves undoubtedly face a huge test to get points on the board this weekend.
