Wolves winger Adama Traore endured a bit of nightmare on his final appearance for Barcelona last night.
The Spaniard was selected to start by Xavi in La Liga for the first time since February 27.

Traore has really struggled for game time at the Nou Camp, with the renaissance of Ousmane Dembele particularly unhelpful.
But Traore was given a final chance to impress last night against Champions League semi-finalists Villarreal.
But it was an evening to forget for the 26-year-old.

Traore had zero shots on target, and was very quiet in the game, having just 28 touches – only four other Barca players had fewer. He put in five crosses, none of which were accurate. And he lost possession 10 times (via Sofascore).
The worst moment though, was when Traore was defending a dangerous Villarreal attack.
The ball was played inside him and Traore got to the ball, but decided to try and clear it across his own area with his weak foot.
He smashed it straight into the path of Moi Gomez, who controlled it and finished into the top corner for 2-0.
It was a moment to forget for Traore, who surely should have just conceded a corner.
The player was then hooked after 57 minutes, and that was likely his final appearance in Barcelona colours.
There have been reports for a while now that Barcelona have no intention of triggering their option to buy clause on him.
Adama Traore set to head back to Wolves, after forgettable final appearance for Barcelona against Villarreal
Traore will now head back to Molineux, and there will be talks about his future.
The indications have been that Barca won’t buy him. And last night’s showing from Traore will have done little to change their minds.
There has been talk of a swap deal involving him and Francisco Trincao.

But the 22-year-old is thought to want a move to Sporting CP. And Wolves are said not to fancy buying him permanent anyway.
So it remains to be seen what will happen with Traore. But he only has a year left on his contract and won’t sign an extension.
