Wolves take on Burnley in the Premier League today, and there is no overstating how huge this game is.
Wolves are still winless in the competition, and have taken just two points from eight games so far.
Victories almost came against Tottenham Hotspur and then Brighton. But unfortunately Wanderers could not see those games out when 1-0 up, conceding late equalisers.
Then last weekend, Wolves suffered a big setback by losing to Sunderland.
That defeat has now placed even more importance on this game against Burnley, who have made a decent start since their promotion.
They’ve taken seven points, and will see this game as a big opportunity to pull further clear of the relegation zone.
But Vitor Pereira is determined to get something from this game, and has issued a defiant – and also philosophical – message to his players.
Vitor Pereira sends message to Wolves players ahead of Burnley clash

Currently, Wolves are five points adrift of safety.
Pereira cannot afford for this gap to increase further, and losing at home to Burnley today would be highly concerning.
But Scott Parker has never recorded a win over Wolves before, having lost his previous three games each by the same 1-0 scoreline.
Pundit Paul Merson feels Wolves will beat Burnley 2-0, in a prediction many fans hope rings true.
The Opta supercomputer suggests a Wolves win against Burnley as the likeliest outcome.
Ahead of today’s game, Pereira struck a defiant tone and called on his players to show ‘hunger’ at Molineux.
He said: “If we are waiting for life to give us something, you can sit waiting and waiting and nothing happens.
“We must go and take from life, go and take from the game. What we need in this moment is to show this hunger since the first minute.”
Pereira also rightly pointed out that seasons are not decided in October, but certainly, Wolves do not want to be getting cut adrift even at this point.
Wolves beating Burnley can be a catalyst
Fans are nervous heading into today’s game and understandably so.
It’s a game Wolves are expected to win at home. But Burnley have shown they can be competitive in the Premier League, picking up seven points so far this term.
| Position | Team | Played MP | Won W | Drawn D | Lost L | For GF | Against GA | Diff GD | Points Pts |

One can only hope that the defeat to Sunderland was not too damaging psychologically, and that the Wolves players can today produce a performance that not only brings victory, but leaves the supporters feeling proud.
Just one solid win has the potential to serve as a catalyst for Wolves.
As Pereira said in his philosophical message, it’s about taking. Taking opportunity, not waiting. And hopefully the players will take the bull by the horns today and get three huge points.
