A clear sign that Wolves have an incredible chance of getting a result vs Bournemouth

Wolves have the chance to pick up their first points of the Premier League season when they take on Bournemouth this weekend and a streak that they are on points to this being a great opportunity.

The first weekend of the Premier League season wasn’t kind to either side, as they faced Man City and Liverpool.

They each conceded four goals en route to defeat, making Saturday’s game a chance for both sides to get off the mark in the league.

But an impressive record points to Wolves being able to get the job done on the road.

Wolves have never lost away to Bournemouth in the Premier League

In five trips to Vitality Stadium in the Premier League, Wolves haven’t lost. It’s the longest such streak currently held by the club and one they won’t want to come to an end this weekend.

The Old Gold have won three of those games and drawn the other two.

Bournemouth have also lost almost all of their backline from last season, making this away trip even more promising.

Andoni Iraola recognises the threat Jorgen Strand Larsen poses in front of goal, and he will be hoping his new-look defence can gel quickly to avoid another loss.

Recent editions of Wolves vs Bournemouth have been fiery

Vitor Pereira will be nervous heading into Saturday’s tie, having experienced a sending off in both previous meetings with Iraola’s side.

The most recent came in the FA Cup, when Bournemouth beat Wolves on penalties, but not before Matheus Cunha’s altercation with Milos Kerkez earned him a red card and a four-match ban.

The time before that was a league clash, when Illia Zabarnyi was sent off for a high tackle on Rayan Ait-Nouri.

All that to say, this should be an exciting match with some bite to it, and if history is anything to go by, Wolves should be alright.
