£90k-a-week star admits he’d like to stay at Wolves for a long time

Pablo Sarabia has admitted he would like to stay at Wolves for a long time, just as it looks as though Hwang Hee-chan will be doing.

Hwang signed a new contract at Molineux earlier this week, with the news being officially announced by Wolves on Thursday.

The South Korean getting a new deal is thoroughly deserved, as he has been in the form of his life this term, after being somewhat inconsistent last season.

Hwang has scored nine goals already this campaign, and has now been rewarded by the club and been made one of the highest-earning players.

Sarabia, thought to be the best-paid player at Wolves on around £90,000-a-week, gave his reaction to Hwang’s new contract – and then said something rather interesting…

Sarabia was giving his reaction to the news of Hwang’s new contract to Wolves Weekly.

The Spaniard is coming up to one year at the club, after signing from Paris Saint-Germain midway through last season.

It has been an up-and-down stint for him so far, but Sarabia appears to be really enjoying himself at the club, and has his sights set on a lengthy stay at Molineux.

He said: “This season has a lot of goals and he is very important for the team to get the points. Because of this, I want to stay with us for a long time.”

Sarabia could well enjoy lengthy Wolves stay

It is interesting to hear Sarabia state that he would like to stay at Wolves for a long time. Clearly, he is enjoying his time at Molineux.

He may not have set the world alight yet at Molineux, but Sarabia is a quality player and someone who just makes things happen for the team.

It was reported recently that Sarabia was actually the best creator in the Premier League in terms of the rate at which he was creating chances for Wolves.

Sometimes, it still feels as though Sarabia is getting to grips with English football. He does lack physicality and can slow things down sometimes.

But there’s no denying he’s a top technician, and technicians have been known to thrive at Molineux and have long spells at the club. Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho are the two best examples.
