Wolves are preparing to take on Manchester United in their next Premier League game.
Another win and Vitor Pereira will do the league double over Manchester United — something the Old Gold haven’t done since the 1979-80 season.
And despite the challenge facing him, the Wolves manager may never have a better opportunity after Ruben Amorim hinted the Red Devils could lineup with a heavily rotated starting 11.

Ruben Amorim hints at heavily rotated Man United team to play Wolves
Manchester United were involved in one of the best European matches of all time at home to Lyon in the Europa League on Thursday.
The Red Devils pulled off a remarkable comeback to win the tie 7-6 on aggregate and book their place in the competition’s semi-finals.
The players may pay the price this weekend, though.
Discussing the physical punishment his players took earlier in the week, Amorim, speaking to Manchester United’s official website, said: “I have to see it, players like [Diogo] Dalot, they are always ready but today he was really tired.
“The guys that are at risk to have an injury, we will try to save them so we will see tomorrow [Friday].”
United will be without seven first team players, including Lisandro Martinez, Joshua Zirkzee and Amad.
Wolves’ current injuries include late fitness tests for Hwang Hee-chan, Matt Doherty and Jean-Ricner Bellegarde.
Youngsters could feature
Refusing to rule out the possibility of Wolves facing several of Manchester United’s youngsters, Amorim used Ayden Heaven as the example.
“I think it is not the best moment or the best season to put some kids to play, because, again, they need a strong base to really show what they can do. But in this moment we need to do it and sometimes you have surprises,” he said.
“Ayden just played and I can be honest, we did it because we had injuries in that moment. But today, I think Ayden is my player so when he is ready and facing the competition in the team, he is ready to play. So you don’t know.
“Amass did really well. Chido, when he played, he played quite well. It is a difficult moment, it is not the right moment for the kids to play, but if we have to do it then we will do it.”
Given both team’s form, as well as United’s understandable fatigue, Pereira will not have a better chance to beat the Red Devils on away soil.
The Wolves boss must grab the chance with both hands and look to put United to the sword as the Old Gold continue their quest for five wins on the bounce.
