Wolves are looking to make it back to back wins in the Premier League against Everton.
Rob Edwards finally got Wolves’ first win against West Ham United at the weekend, and given recent performances, fans are allowing themselves to feel optimistic again.
Securing Premier League survival remains a tall order for Wolves.
Which way do you see Wolves’ showdown against Everton going?
But certainly, there are reasons now to believe that the Old Gold can make a fight of their current situation.
Everton are up next for Wolves, and here is a potential starting XI we could be seeing tomorrow night.
Predicted Wolves XI vs Everton

With Wolves putting in their best performance of the season against West Ham, it may be that we don’t see many changes to the starting XI against Everton, if any at all.
Jose Sa looks nailed on to start against Everton after a strong showing against West Ham – his form since returning to the team has been fairly good so him rotating out would be a surprise.
Edwards should stick with a back three, with Yerson Mosquera, Santiago Bueno and Ladislav Krejci all keeping their places.
We’re backing Jackson Tchatchoua to shine against Everton, and the left wing-back will surely be Hugo Bueno, who helped himself to his first assist of the season against West Ham.
There has been a lot to like about Wolves’ midfield in the last two games – and it feels like Edwards will not tweak it against Everton.
So Joao Gomes – who’s trained ahead of the game with Everton – could play as the number six, with Jhon Arias and Mateus Mane operating as the two number eights.
Presenting Molineux News’ predicted Wolves XI to face Everton! 🐺
Thoughts on this team Wolves fans, would you make any changes? 🤔
Arias looks a totally different player in a deeper role, and Mane is brimming with confidence – there’s no reason Edwards shouldn’t go with this trio again.
So it would mean Andre again starting on the bench. As good as he is, he current balance feels strong.
Then up top, it makes sense to go with Hwang Hee-chan and Tolu Arokodare, who are building a good partnership. The South Korean’s mobility combined with Arokodare’s hold-up play could make for a winning formula.
Hwang has also trained ahead of facing Everton, and has looked far better playing in a strike partnership. Hopefully, he can add to the two goal contributions he made against West Ham.
Don’t try to fix what isn’t broken
Wolves going unchanged feels like the right play against Everton.
That performance against West Ham was hugely encouraging, and it makes little sense to start changing things up – unless certain players aren’t fully fit.

Gomes and Hwang have both trained, but it does remain to be seen if they’re both 100% ready to start.
Hopefully they are, because they’re important players who have both come into form.
There are genuine reasons to be optimistic that Wolves can beat Everton, and hopefully we see a very similar showing to what we saw at the weekend.
