Wolves travel to Bristol City in the FA Cup on Saturday hoping to go far in the competition.
Vitor Pereira’s side are currently 17th in the Premier League, level on points with the bottom three after Wolves lost 3-0 to Nottingham Forest.
The FA Cup will therefore act as a distraction to their relegation battle, and they face a somewhat difficult test against Bristol City.
The Robins are eighth in the Championship table and chasing the playoffs after going unbeaten in six of their last seven games.
Wolves know not to take second-tier opposition lightly after Coventry City beat Wolves in the FA Cup quarter-final last season thanks to goals from Ellis Simms and Haji Wright.
Now, Pereira will want to go even further with the Old Gold, who have some important team news ahead of the clash.

Wolves team and injury news ahead of Bristol City
Supporters were elated on Thursday as Wolves announced the signing of Emmanuel Agbadou, the 27-year-old centre-back from Ligue 1 side Reims.
Agbadou, who signed a 4.5-year contract at Wolves, arrives at a time when Pereira needs him most with Toti Gomes sidelined with a hamstring problem and Yerson Mosquera out for the season with an ACL.
Pereira was also without Craig Dawson and Nelson Semedo against Forest, though they only had minor injuries and the Portuguese will address the media on their condition in his press conference.
Aside from injuries, forward Matheus Cunha is serving the second match of his ban, and he will return for next weekend’s trip to Newcastle in the Premier League.
Wolves predicted XI vs Bristol City
The beauty of the FA Cup is being able to rotate the side and even offer youngsters the chance to shine when they would otherwise be warming the bench.
As a result, Pereira could make several changes to the side that lost to Forest, including a switch in goal with Jose Sa dropping out for Sam Johnstone.
The back three should feature Agbadou, making his Wolves debut alongside Santi Bueno and youngster Bastien Meupiyou, who could make his first senior start.
Pedro Lima made his Premier League debut on Monday, and he could now make his first start in the FA Cup at right wing-back with Rodrigo Gomes on the opposite flank.
Andre flew back to South America for the birth of his son and missed the last defeat, although his return could see him play alongside Tommy Doyle in midfield.
As for the forward line, there could be two changes to the one that started against Forest, with Carlos Forbs making a rare appearance next to Pablo Sarabia and Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Wolves predicted XI vs Bristol City (3-4-3): Johnstone; Meupiyou, Bueno, Agbadou; Lima, Andre, Doyle, R. Gomes; Forbs, Sarabia, Strand Larsen.
