Rob Edwards has plenty to think about as Wolves gear up to take on Manchester United.
Andre’s suspension means the Old Gold are light in the middle of the pitch, and concerns for Yerson Mosquera and Santiago Bueno only add to the negative news.
With limited options, there is a real possibility that Wolves head to Old Trafford with a change of system, possibly even a back four.
However, the injury updates have alleviated some worries, but not all of them.
Here is how we think Rob Edwards will line up against Manchester United on Tuesday night.
What way do you see Wolves’ trip to Old Trafford going?
Defence
There are plenty of injury and unavailability issues at Wolves in central defence. Emmanuel Agbadou is at AFCON, Toti Gomes is injured, and now Yerson Mosquera and Santiago Bueno are doubts.
When it comes to the two, Bueno seems to be the biggest concern, with Mosquera likely only having a cramp.
With that said, if the Uruguayan is fit, the head coach will stick with a back three. Santiago Bueno will be joined by both Yerson Mosquera and Matt Doherty at the back.
Jose Sa remains in goal; meanwhile, Jackson Tchatchoua and David Moller Wolfe come into the side at wing-back.

Midfield
In the middle of the pitch, there are only really two options. Joao Gomes and Ladislav Krejci are both likely to play due to a lack of fit senior midfielders.
Rob Edwards could spring a surprise and play young 17-year-old Luke Rawlings, who has been in the last two matchday squads, but we suspect the senior members will get the nod in the middle.
Perhaps there are other solutions we are not aware of, too. Vitor Pereira did once play Emmanuel Agbadou in midfield. So there might be others who can do a job there.
Finish the sentence: Rob Edwards should play ______ in midfield alongside Joao Gomes vs Man United.
His options are slim without Andre.
Attack
Tolu Arokodare has to continue up top, after the Nigerian impressed at Anfield, and Mateus Mane’s inclusion is an absolute must.
The 18-year-old has brought a breath of fresh air to the club’s options, showing immense bravery and courage up top. He has said fans chanting his name has boosted his confidence as well.
Jorgen Strand Larsen will come in and partner Arokodare, as Mane plays in the spaces behind them.
Hwang Hee-chan was disappointing on the weekend, and that will be enough to drop him out of the side.
Would you be happy with this starting XI, Wolves fans?
If not, let us know who comes in and who comes out!
Overall, that would make for three changes from the game against Liverpool.
- Jorgen Strand Larsen in, Hwang Hee-chan out
- David Moller Wolfe in, Hugo Bueno out
- Jackson Tchatchoua in, Andre out
Wolves have not been given much chance of coming away with a win, but Edwards will be looking to inspire something special before the turn of the new year.
The Old Gold are on an 11-game Premier League losing streak, and they need to nip that in the bud as soon as possible.
