Wolves have fallen to another defeat in the Premier League, losing 4-2 to Crystal Palace.
Wanderers were hoping to spoil Palace’s party after their FA Cup win, but fell way short at Selhurst Park.
Wolves took the lead through Emmanuel Agbadou, but carried little threat in the game and were made to pay for some poor defending.
Eddie Nketiah was at the double for the hosts, and Palace grabbed a third early in the second-half via a deflected free-kick from Ben Chilwell.
Jorgen Strand Larsen pulled one back for the visitors with a header from a corner.
Wolves had a lot of possession without really doing too much with it, before Ebere Eze sealed the win for the hosts late on.
To finish the season with four straight defeats would be extremely frustrating, and Vitor Pereira will be hard at work this week ahead of the final outing against Brentford at Molineux.
Wolves player ratings vs Crystal Palace

Dan Bentley – 4/10
Conceded four but not much he could really do about the first two Palace goals and was wrong-footed by a Ben Chilwell free-kick that was deflected.
Nasser Djiga – 4/10
His first start in the Premier League and didn’t look wholly comfortable on the right of the back three. Might have done better in the build-up to Palace’s equaliser. Seems quite raw still. Replaced at half-time by Nelson Semedo.
Emmanuel Agbadou – 4/10
Scored, but this was arguably Agbadou’s worst performance in a Wolves shirt. Wayward passing and did not cover himself in glory on Palace’s first two goals. Booked.
Toti Gomes – 5/10
Captain for the night with Nelson Semedo starting on the bench, Toti looked relatively comfortable for the most part but got caught out positionally on the second Palace goal.
Rodrigo Gomes – 5/10
Started in place of Semedo, but struggled to have much influence going forward. Should have done better on the Palace equaliser and put the ball out of play.
Rayan Ait-Nouri – 5/10
With Matheus Cunha not starting, the onus was on Ait-Nouri to step up creatively for Wolves. He was quiet in the first half but became more involved in the second, playing more from the right side and centrally. Again guilty of overcomplicating things at times.
Andre – 6/10
Kept things ticking in midfield. Replaced at half-time by Joao Gomes
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde – 6/10
Did OK but didn’t really make any good ball carries which we know he’s capable of. Did assist Jorgen Strand Larsen’s goal in the second half with a good corner.
Goncalo Guedes – 5/10
He tried, but there was little threat throughout from Guedes. Went close with an effort just before half-time, and saw a decent volleyed effort saved in the second by Dean Henderson.
Pablo Sarabia – 4/10
It was a performance Wolves fans have seen many times from Sarabia. He saw enough of the ball, but just didn’t really execute the passes he needed to in and around the final third. Also seemed to be on the deck a lot. Replaced by Marshall Munetsi.
Jorgen Strand Larsen – 6/10
Had a hand in Agbadou’s goal, and also scored himself in the second half with a good header to take his tally to 14 for the season. He was mostly starved of service at Selhurst Park. Replaced by Matheus Cunha.
Substitutes
Joao Gomes – 5/10
Wolves improved in the second half after he came on in place of Andre, but not one of his best displays
Nelson Semedo – 5/10
Was beaten rather easily late on in the game by Eze on Palace’s fourth goal.
